Summer Camps 2013!
Now taking reservations for summer camps. Ages 7 & up
Join us this June, July, and August for what is sure to be our best set of summer camps yet!
Session 1: June 18-20, 2013
Session 2: Jul 16-18, 2013
Session 3: August 6-8, 2013
Each session is three hours per day, from 9 a.m. to noon, for three days. We will work with clay, fuse glass, paint pottery, and do many more fun projects throughout our time together! Below is a sample of the some of the projects for each camp.
At Ceramics in the City we always start with the basics and grow our artistic knowledge from there. Your children will learn from the greats, like Van Gogh and Picasso, as we discuss face shapes, line drawing, and textures.
Pottery is a beautiful art form, and a great learning tool, too! We'll teach the science of ceramics, like how clear glaze works and what exactly happens in our pottery and glass kilns.
